In our current schools, information is thrown at students; they have no incentive to active search for information on their own because first the curriculum is a 封闭的 information sphere, which means outside information has little vale; and second, information and deadlines will be fed to them and pressured on them anyway. They are constantly pushed by information and deadlines, have no control over what they learn and for how long, they only see the next deadline and the next test. students graduate with no information literacy and have no ideas how to actively search for information and process them (how to learn / do research) -- 学校教的不是真 research，只是为了 source 而找 source，只能生产出学术垃圾 [[无欲望不写作]] Without a teacher, textbook, and practice worksheets, they have no idea what to do to lesrn something besides putting it into the search box.
