Why do we need to go through the hassle of learning everything all over again if we can directly inherit the knowledge and information from our ancestors through a better means, enabled by our newest technologies? If your ancestor can directly transfer all his thoughts and experiences that he gained using his lifetime so that you can directly build onto that and explore more, why are humans learning the same stuff all over and all over again, making such little progress in such a long time? If we can achieve direct transfer of knowledge, then basically we're ==vasly accelerating the rate at which humans as a species evolve== -- isn't that an exciting and magnificent thing? Humans currently communicate & pass on knowledge in such a inefficient way that impedes our progress towards a better understanding of the world and ourselves.
