[[Architect & Gardener — two ways of management]] [[Nation-states will be obsolete]] ### The Problem: The Factory Boss meets digital goods Imagine the old government was like a **Factory Boss**. He stood at the door with a clipboard. He counted every worker who came in. He taxed every box that went out. He built a big fence around the factory to keep his stuff in and competitors out. This worked great when "wealth" was physical stuff like coal, cars, and corn. **The Problem:** In the new world, wealth is **Intelligence**. It’s code. It’s data. If the Factory Boss tries to tax it, it vanishes instantly to a server in Singapore. If he builds a wall, the data just flies right through it. The Boss is standing there yelling at a cloud, trying to put handcuffs on a math equation. It doesn't work. ### The Solution: The Gardener In **Intelligent Economics**, the Government stops being a **Boss** (Extractor/Controller) and becomes a **Gardener** (Steward). A gardener cannot *command* a tomato plant to grow. If you yell "GROW!" at a plant, nothing happens. Instead, the gardener focuses entirely on the **Soil** and the **Sun**. If the soil is good, the plant grows by itself. **The New Role:** The Government’s only job is to make sure your country is the most fertile garden in the world, ==so the AI and the people *choose* to grow there==. [[Sovereign individuals -- denationalization, jurisdictional shopping, asset protection]] ### How Do They Do It? (Geometry Engineering) * **Old Government:** Tries to ban things (Prohibition). This is like telling you not to throw the bowling ball into the gutter. You still do it by accident. * **New Government:** Tilts the floor. * They don’t *force* you to be green. They just make polluting incredibly expensive (uphill) and being green incredibly cheap (downhill). * They don’t *command* innovation. They just pour money into basic science and open data (fertilizer) so that inventing things becomes the easiest path. They design the "shape" of the economy so that laziness and greed actually lead to good outcomes. ## The New Job: [[Measure systemic vitality through MIND Dashboard]]
