There are 8,142,000,000 people on this planet. You and me are both one of them. Most of these people we will never meet in our entire lifespan. We won't know their names, see their faces, or even hear about them, let alone read their words. Internet is a wonderful place in the sense that you and I, though not knowing each other before at all, can briefly meet here. --- I am Jimmy Zhang, a 17 yo learner. Starting from the age of 15, I devoted 3 more years into the United World College (UWC) Movement. I am currently a high school student in the Netherlands. I am passionate about knowledge and learning. I believe in the the power of technology and arts in changing the world. --- I love to look at the world, think, and build great new things. You can find all of them here at my homepage -- https://jimmyzhang.org I also opensourced all of my notes & knowledg at https://jimmyzhang.space I take a lot of notes on books I read and share them there, I think you might find them helpful. My work-in-progress & roadmap is here: https://roadmap.jimmyzhang.space My private community for self-directed learners: https://learninginpublic.space --- Ok, but still, what do I have to do with you life? Unfortunately, the answer is not much. There are so little people that we can connect to in our limited lifetime that truly have an impact on our life. For me this number is no more than five. So don't worry at all if you just close this tab and never see me again. It's really normal. However, if there's anything in me that intersts you or make you excited, or just cherish this random connection with a random person that you don't really know about, please subscribe for a small newsletter to receive updates on my life and work. No spam except a quiet monthly update. Farewell, or see you again.
